Yes. The ornament is generated by the app from rules recorded in historical treatises that are in the public domain; the drawings are not copies of anyone's artwork. You do not owe us a credit, though the citation list exists precisely because naming your source is often what a client asks for.
Each entry names its source in the app — most of them are plates in Yingzao Fashi (1103) and Yuanye (1631), read from public-domain scans, plus museum objects published under CC0. Entries whose shape we could not establish from a plate are marked as drafts and can be filtered out. Nothing here is scanned from a modern pattern book, and nothing is AI-generated.
Tell us. Some entries take a plate's lattice but not its fine detail, and the entry says so in its notes. But we have also simply been wrong before and corrected it. A specific report with the pattern's name is the most useful thing you can send.
